Job Description
A. QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Supervise retail floor operations, including floor staff coverage, cash handling, product merchandising, replenishing, displaying and daily maintenance and cleanliness of the Store.
- Oversee store opening and closing procedures including cash reconciliation’s, and deposits.
- Report discrepancies in cash and ensure to Use correct till disciplines.
- Responsible for daily report generating and consolidating including daily sales reports, and daily deposit.
- Take responsibility for specific areas of activity from day to day, as assigned by the Shop Manager.
- Accurate administration of all paper work.
- Supervise all goods processing, including receiving deliveries, comparing it with the packing list, process validation in the POS system, tagging, pricing, stocking and displaying.
- Coordinate monthly staff schedule and daily staff coverage for the store including lunch breaks.
- Supervise store in the absence of Shop Manager.
- Maintain weekly/monthly transfers and petty cash charges log.
- Assist with the training of new hires.
- Coordinate daily/weekly operational and day to day goals and priorities with Shop Manager.
- Ensure customers receive the highest standard of service.
- Attends to customers’ requirements, queries and complaints and resolve it effectively.
- Assist Shop Manager to achieve/exceed target by urges the staff to practice (Add on & cross selling) techniques.
- Prevention of wastage, damage, theft, etc
- Sensible use of resources to control and reduce cost (ex. energy, equipment, stationary)
- Coordinate goods transfer to other shops.
- Keep the Shop Manager fully informed of all matters relating to the store operation and report immediately any memo / circular by Mall Management and or any trade standard or governmental official visit.
- Ensures that all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes are communicated and implemented within the team.
